1. Domain 1

   Manage Azure identities and governance

   20–25%

   Administer Microsoft Entra ID users and groups, and control access with Azure RBAC. Typical governance work includes Azure Policy, resource locks, tags, resource groups, subscriptions, management groups and cost controls.

   Implement and manage storage

   15–20%

   Configure Azure Storage accounts, Blob Storage and Azure Files, including network and identity-based access, SAS, encryption and recovery options such as soft delete. 3. Domain 3

   Deploy and manage Azure compute resources

   20–25%

   Deploy and manage compute using ARM templates or Bicep where relevant, Azure Virtual Machines, containers (including Azure Container Instances and Azure Container Apps) and Azure App Service. Hands-on Azure practice matters more than memorising product names.

4. Domain 4

   Implement and manage virtual networking

   15–20%

   Monitor and maintain Azure resources

   10–15%
