Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These terms govern use of SkillsNest at skills-nest.com, operated by Skills Nest Limited. SkillsNest is available to customers internationally. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. About SkillsNest

SkillsNest is operated by Skills Nest Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. SkillsNest is an online training and certification-practice subscription service available to customers internationally. You do not need to live in the United Kingdom to use it.

SkillsNest provides independent online training and exam preparation. We are not a certification body and we do not award Microsoft, or other vendor, credentials.

2. Acceptance of terms

If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the service. We may update these terms as the product changes. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you think someone else has used it.

4. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter a contract where you live. The current sign-up form does not collect date of birth, and a specific minimum account age has not been published. We do not knowingly target children. If you are not old enough to enter a contract where you live, you should not create an account.

5. Free access

A free SkillsNest account does not require a payment card. Free access currently includes the public catalogue, instructor-marked preview lessons, and one designated full mock exam per certification where a free mock has been published. Free access is determined by product flags in the catalogue (for example a preview lesson or free-mock flag), not by the title of a course.

6. Premium subscriptions

SkillsNest Premium unlocks the paid preparation suite for published certifications, including full courses, practice questions, additional mock exams, and progress features, subject to what is actually published for each certification.

Current plans include monthly and yearly subscriptions. Prices, billing intervals and any applicable taxes are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. These terms do not freeze a price or assume a particular currency.

7. Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Taxes may be added where Stripe Tax or applicable law requires it. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.

8. Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel or the payment fails. Failed payments may lead to loss of Premium access.

9. Cancellation

You can manage or cancel a Stripe subscription from Account billing, which opens Stripe’s customer portal. In the current product, cancelling a subscription sets it to end at the close of the current billing period rather than cutting off access immediately.

10. Access after cancellation

If you cancel at period end, Premium access continues until that period ends, then your account returns to free access (catalogue, previews, and any designated free mock). We do not delete your account solely because a subscription ended.

11. Refunds and consumer rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes statutory rights you may have under the consumer laws that apply to you, including rights relating to digital content.

We do not state that all payments are non-refundable. Refunds are not automatic for every cancellation. Whether a refund is due depends on the circumstances, the payment provider, and the law that applies to you.

These terms do not treat access to digital content as an automatic waiver of any cooling-off or cancellation rights you may have.

If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@skills-nest.com or use the contact page as soon as you can.

12. Course and certification content

Training is provided for education and exam preparation. Content may be updated, reorganised, or withdrawn as exams and the catalogue change. We do not promise that the catalogue will always include a particular exam, lesson, or question.

13. Intellectual property

Courses, videos, questions, explanations, mock exams, case studies, software, and branding are owned by Skills Nest Limited or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation while your account (and, where relevant, Premium) allows access.

14. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities except with our written permission, harvest other users’ data, or use it to break the law.

15. Account sharing

Accounts are for one learner. You must not share logins, sell access, or let others sit exams or practice under your account.

16. Copying and access controls

You must not copy, download, scrape, record, redistribute, or resell our videos, questions, or other content, or try to bypass paywalls, preview limits, or other access controls. Technical measures reduce casual copying; they do not make downloading impossible, and attempting to circumvent them is still a breach of these terms.

17. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, faults, or third-party outages (hosting, payments, video delivery) may occur.

18. Changes to content and features

We may add, change, or remove features, including free-mock designations and catalogue items. Where a change is material to paying subscribers we will try to describe it in the product or these terms.

19. Certification and exam disclaimer

SkillsNest does not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Exam content, scoring, and scheduling are controlled by the certification vendor. Practice questions and mocks are original preparation materials, not leaked or official live-exam items.

20. Third-party trademarks

Microsoft, Azure, Azure Fundamentals, AZ-900, DP-700, Microsoft Fabric, and other certification names are trademarks of their respective owners. Use of those names is for identification. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft or other certification vendors unless a separate partnership is stated.

21. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

These Terms do not exclude or limit any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for exam fees, failed exams, or lost profits. We do not accept unlimited liability for all loss arising from use of the service.

22. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, including account sharing or attempts to copy content. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (intellectual property, acceptable use, liability, governing law) continue after termination.

23. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living outside England and Wales, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence which these Terms do not exclude.
